Kid’s Church

Our kids’ Sunday morning ministry includes three sections:

• equipped baby room for parents and their infants
• Sparks for ages 2-6
• Treehouse for ages 7-12

The older children share opportunities to lead worship and to help with the younger ones. Our programme is homegrown and parent-led.

The Sparks group are now using a curriculum from Kingsway for toddlers called Totzone.   It is full of wonderful ideas to share with our tots the love of God.  Every week there are songs, craft activities and games all based around a story from the Bible.  Our desire is to feed their curious minds and hearts with the good news of Jesus and these lessons do just that.

The older group, Treehouse, have been enjoying a new set of lessons called Discipleship Junction.  Each term has a different theme and currently they are enjoying some really creative lessons based on the different names of God.  The emphasis is fun as our older children grow in their knowledge and love of their Saviour.   There are games, dramas, activities, crafts and a snack.  Next term they will be learning about being a winner in God and will think about subjects like giving their best, humility and trusting God.
